About Info-Genesis
We help you keep your promises.
A team of two. Over sixty years of experience.
Info-Genesis is a husband-and-wife consulting team. Between us, we bring more than sixty years of hands-on IT experience — from the days of physical rack cabling and on-premise everything, through the virtualization era, through cloud migration, and now into AI-powered infrastructure. That kind of depth doesn’t come from certifications. It comes from having worked every layer of the stack in production, at real organizations, when things were on the line.
We’ve designed and managed networks — LAN and WAN, routing and switching, firewalls and VPNs — for organizations ranging from small businesses to multi-site enterprises. We’ve administered Windows and Linux servers on bare metal, in VMware and Hyper-V environments, and in AWS and Azure. We’ve handled database work across SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL: schema design, performance tuning, migrations, and keeping things running under load. We’ve built and integrated applications, managed Active Directory, hardened systems against threats, responded to incidents, and helped organizations navigate compliance requirements.
More recently, we’ve added AI and data pipelines to the practice — not as a pivot, but as the natural next layer. Organizations that trust us with their infrastructure are now asking us to help them think through AI adoption without getting burned by hype. We’ve built local-first AI pipelines that keep sensitive data on-premise, implemented PII sanitization using Microsoft’s Presidio framework augmented with local LLM detection, and designed RAG systems that give language models accurate business context without exposing data they shouldn’t see.
You get the people who know the work
At most consulting firms, the senior person sells the engagement and a junior consultant does the work. That’s not how we operate. When you work with Info-Genesis, you’re working with us — the people who’ve actually done this, who’ve been in the trenches at every layer of the IT stack, from pulling network cables to architecting hybrid cloud environments to building DevOps pipelines. There’s no handoff to a team you’ve never met.
Being a small team is a feature, not a limitation. It means you get consistent people, consistent judgment, and someone who knows the full context of your environment every time they walk in the door. We’ve seen what happens when organizations treat IT as a commodity and chase the lowest hourly rate — eventually someone who didn’t understand the system makes a decision that costs far more to fix than the savings were worth. Our clients come to us because they want that not to happen to them.
How we work
Every engagement starts with listening. The most expensive thing a consultant can do is start solving before understanding the actual problem. We spend time on diagnosis — the current state, the constraints, the history, what’s been tried before — before we recommend anything. We’ve learned that the presenting problem is rarely the whole picture, and the fix that doesn’t account for the organization is the fix that doesn’t stick.
When we scope work, we scope it clearly: what we’ll deliver, what it will cost, how long it will take, and what done looks like. We draw on ITIL practices and process improvement principles where they add value, and we push toward automation and DevOps approaches that reduce ongoing operational overhead. The goal is never to create dependency — it’s to leave your environment better documented, better understood, and more capable of being run by your own people.
That’s what “we help you keep your promises” means in practice. Your organization makes commitments — to customers, to partners, to staff. The technology underneath those commitments either holds them up or undermines them. Our job is to make sure it holds them up.
